i have some questions about youtube’s partnership offer?
i have a video on youtube that has almost 83,000 views. its a slideshow of photo’s i have taken and youtube has offered to let me join the partnership deal they have, so i can make money from letting them post ads. i have a string quartet version of the song “hands” by jewel. well one of the rules that makes it uneligable is “Your video contains content that you didn’t create or get permission from its creator to use, such as: music”
does this mean i cant join? how do i get permission? should i just join anyway? lol

I seen popular youtube video who is part of the youtube’s partnership who use music from artist. I am pretty sure they don’t have written permissions. It doesn’t hurt to join and see what happens. But it is best to have video that doesn’t have music that is copyrighted. You should try using music that is royalty free. That way you don’t need any permission. I hope the best of luck and make some money from youtube.
