How do I use a song in a Youtube video?
I really want to use Alice(Underground) by Avril Lavigne but I’m sure they will make me take it down. I think I’m going to put this in the description song, or in the video itself “Alice(underground) is a property of it’s respective artists, labels and producers. The creators of this video do not gain any profit from this video. No Copyright infringement is intended.”
Do you think that will work?
Also, the owner of this song is Sony Music Entertainment.
Don’t worry. Nowadays, YouTube doesn’t really take down videos with music in them anymore. Nothing should happen to your account and it’s very likely YouTube will put a little box under the video telling others the song is “Avril Lavigne – Alice” so you don’t have to.
