Here’s a cool video filmed by two guys living in Calgary Alberta, Canada.
The video is called “The 8 Hour Challenge”. It displays just how easy it is to throw together a modern Pop song using a lap-top, some basic music editing software, and a few “Friends” (the TV show) references. Very very entertaining..,as they’re basically poking fun of the whole current Pop industry.
Apparently Gene Simmons of “Kiss” emailed these guys complimenting them, and saying how much he enjoyed watching their video, Lol.

Many can answer Q’s in far less time as well. You’ve obviously missed the point…which surprises no one I’m sure

BeatTime…Ah, a surefire way to make a song sound like it has no balls, use a bunch of pre-programmed (sampled samples) drums. There’s some cutting edge. I’m getting a woody and we’re just getting started!
DigiTrackEmBaby…Yippee, let’s over-dub some ultra-mundane repetitive crap and mumble nonsense syllables over-the-top of even more emotionless electronic elements….”Oooh, the textures” are killing me! If I hear another synthesizer that doesn’t belong to Manfred Mann, Tony Banks or Keith Emerson, I’m going to blow my brains out…(: Since I’m equating this attention/fame/song with talent, I’m gonna play it for my co-workers eight times a day for the next eight weeks!
Who knows, if these “two guys” were born at the right time, they mighta been the Beatles! I think they should make a vid about a kid who wanders into his grandparents attic and stumbles across an (gasp!) analog instrument….
