How do I stream from my laptop to my xbox 360?
I have my 360 connected to my modem (which also doubles as a wireless router) via ethernet cord. I connect to the internet wirelessly with my laptop. I am not good at network stuff but would like to stream music or videos from my computer to my 360. I have tried reading up to do it from the website, but apparently I cannot get it to work. Can someone provide steps on what I need to do?
Well you did not say the type of OS you are running. I myself could not get windows media center to work so I had to try something else. All you need to do is install a media sever to your computer and that will allow you to stream stuff to your xbox. I used “TVersity Media Server” it was one of the simpler programs I found. All you have to do is install it and then pick the files you want to share to your xbox.
