What exactly does this mean: “the right and/or permit to use all music & scoring.”?
the quote above is from a film submission application of a film contest I want to enter. I have apple’s final cut software that comes with “royalty free” music. Does this mean that if I use their music for a film I need their persmission to distribute or to use it in a film contest?
No, royalty-free music does not require permission.
The application to which you refer is stating that you must have permission from the copyright holder in order to include copyrighted material in your film.
