Queen Band Photos

How do I superimpose images in Adobe Photoshop CS3?
I’m using PS CS3 and trying to play around with some stuff. I’m trying to play around with Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody poster and put myself in it, in place of Brian May .
For whoever doesn’t know what image I’m talking about,it’s this one..http://riff-o-matic.com/riff-a-day/bohemian_rhapsody/Band_queen2.jpg
I’ve taken a photo of my face at the same angles etc,but how do I then proceed to seamlessly replace it within the original and make it look decent? I’m quite so-so at Photoshop,I’m not a pro or anything, but can use all the basic features! Any help would be appreciated.Thank you
Open your photo image and Rhapsody image. Hopefully you have a black background to your photo. No? Then the job is more difficult. Your photo probably needs to be reduced in size but first find the size of Rhapsody image. Right click on the title bar of Rhapsody and select Image Size. Note what it indicates in the upper portion, pixels. Click Cancel. Focus on your photo, do the same thing but it is most likely much bigger. Reduce its size but keep it larger than Rhapsody. Select > All. Then, Edit > Copy. Focus on Rhapsody and Edit > Paste. It will probably will cover the entire Rhapsody image. Select the Transformation tool, Ctrl+T. You will see a bounding box appear. Grab a corner handle and move inward to reduce the size. Click and hold inside the bounding box to move to new position. Look in the Layer palette and you will see a box titled “Opacity” Reduce the opacity so you can see the Rhapsody image below. Position and resize to where you like it. When finished, put the opacity back to 100.
In the Layers palette there is an icon of a rectangle with a circle inside. This is the mask icon. Click on it. The layer of your photo will have a white square. If not on your photo player, undo and make sure that the your photo layer is active. Okay, with the mask in place, click once inside the white square. Your colors should be black and white, black foreground. Select the brush tool and with black to reveal the Rhapsody image below. Go slow, zoom in to see best, use a soft brush. If you mess up, change the foreground color to white, press X will swap colors, and paint over the mess up with white.
