Can you name some really famous RAI songs?
I really like rai music and I know that Cheb Khaled is the “king of rai” and he’s great, but I want to know some other music from Algeria/Morocco/Tunisia. There’s one song in particular that I love but I have no idea what it is or who sings it, but I know it’s a really famous one because I’ve heard it in any middle eastern music bar I’ve gone to – and it’s definitely rai. So, I’m hoping that if someone names some especially famous songs/singers, I can track it down, and find some other great stuff along the way. Feel free to post youtube video links or just song/singer names. Thanks in advance!

3rd song: La tebki ya galbi ( which means: don’t cry, my heart – or sweetheart – ): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AHN1hkLVzkU
THOSE ARE RAI SONGS, but in Algeria there are a LOT of musical styles, so if you need more songs, just ask me via my email!
Have a nice day.
