How do I get rights to use published music?
I have been working on videos for a local cause at my school. We are attempting to save our sports, art, and music programs. What I need to do is get rights to several songs that are used in the background of m videos such as: We’re not gonna take it- Twisted Sister, The Dance- Garth Brooks, We are the champions- Queen, Kids of America- Kim Wilde, Kind And Generous-Natalie Merchant and some others.
if the songs are 15 years old, then they are public property
