etta, of course. beyonce is just copying her song. young people have no idea who etta was and how well she can sing. back then the music was the singer singing they didn’t have all this techno crap behind them. without knowing who was singing the original etta james song sounds a lot like the modern beyonce song…without all the modern tech help that these new singers get
