How to fix this bug on a Android phone? The music app starts automatically on top of the active app?
The music app starts automatically on top of the active application like
movie player or YouTube etc. Pressing back in the Music Player switches
back to the original active app but the video plays for a view seconds and
then the music player starts again automatically. This is very annoying.
Despite the overall stability of Android 2.2, there has been one continuing and potentially embarrassing bug in the software. Essentially, the bug created a situation where Android smartphones could randomly forward received text messages. Imagine if you were exchanging somewhat non “HR friendly” messages with some friends or co-workers, and your phone decided to forward the text string to your boss or HR Manager.
That could be bad.
Well, since the bug wasn’t limited to just one phone or carrier, Google made fixing this bug a top priority. Their solution was the release of the 2.2.2 update. This update won’t make your phone faster or equip it with incredible new features, but it could just save your job! (or marriage, friendship, etc, etc, etc.)
The update was pushed to my Droid 1 on March 16, 2011 and installed quickly. The curious thing was that while my Droid had been running 2.2 for a few weeks, it was only a few days prior to receiving the 2.2.2 update that I noticed my Droid forwarding texts on its own.
As for Android updates to my HTC Incredible, I remain in a holding pattern, as are many other Android smartphone owners
