No More MTV Philippines? MTV Asia replacing?

The final sign-off was sad to watch. They showed “Video Killed the Radio Star” by Buggles – which we all know was the first ever music video they showed at MTV’s launch in 1981. And then the screen went blank, with the logo still shown – until like 30 seconds later it disappears. Too much dramatic info, but this was sad for me to watch.

Anyway, they said the contract wasn’t renewed, so I want to ask. Is MTV Asia really replacing the old MTV Phil? In that case, I won’t be sad anymore, ’cause MTV Asia is like watching MTV in the US. I know some of you don’t like MTV US since they don’t play any music videos anymore.
