Free Music Zumba
Want to Start a Creative Hobby. Suggestions?
I’m in my late 20′s and I want to take up doing something creative during my free time. I love dance and music, but it’s too late to get into that without dedicating a lot of my time.
So I’m looking for something to do. Maybe something crafty or artsy or semi-athletic? I don’t know. I’m open to anything. Some past suggestions have been Zumba, Painting, etc. I work in Event Planning, so anything that would help me in my career as well would be a Bonus!
Start doing some jewelry making, it’s easy to get started. Go to Hobby Lobby and hit up their bead/pendant aisle for awesome supplies. You can also buy books to learn different beading techniques or wire wrapping. I do this sometimes when there’s nothing going on so it’s easy to put down and just come back when you feel like it. I even saw a lady making pendants out of little samples you can find in the kitchen section of menards, she painted the backs of them or decoupaged cute cut-outs onto them.
You can also start painting woodwork… birdhouses and stuff like that
Semi-athletic, go on walks and take paper and crayons to start a collection of rubbings from various patterns and textures you find.
