Free Music Zero
I’m really into music and have been trying to find a good music making program. It has to be free. Any ideas?
My funds are limited, as in zero. I’ve tried audacity and loop labs but I did not like them. I’m looking for something similar to garage band. I’ve looked all over the internet but had no success. Remember, the program has to be free. It can be online or a software download, I’m not picky.
Just checked mixcraft website, not free.
I tried the Linux one and I’m not that hot on it. Any other ideas?
Hi, there is one free open source software that I would recommend to you. It is called LMMS ( Linux Multimedia Studio), it is a great program for making beats and instrumentals. You can add vst instruments and soundfonts to it, so there is no limit on what you can create with the software.The software is a great alternative to softwares such as FL Studio. I have used the software before, and it is the best free open source music software; I have found so far. Now the stock sounds in the software are pretty limited. You will need to add your own vst plug ins and soundfonts; so you can achieve the sound you want. I hope I have answered all of your questions.
