Just a personal question, but do you think if the RIAA were to sell music for free, would it benefit or hurt the music industry?
In my opinion “yes.” Pop charts were up in the year 2000, but after this law was pasted, pop charts have hit record lows. And I really do not see the sense in passing a law that billions of people worldwide will break.
Just go onto iTunes & *preview* William Hung’s “Words of Graditude,” and ask yourself, “Is this track really worth the $0.99?”
As John Stossel said on 20/20: “Give me a break.”
