A friend of mine recently introduced me to Lazyboy (Aqua member Søren Nystrøm Rasted’s side project). The combination of catchy dance/pop/techno music and spoken word (often giving advice or quoting statistics) really appeals to me for some reason.
I know that naming a style of music is not exact, but it helps us when you are trying to tell other people about it or trying to find more music in the same style.

Someone suggested “PoliticoRap” like Consolidated, but this is less harsh and more fun.
Lazyboy is a musical project started by Aqua member Søren Nystrøm Rasted, also known as Lazy B in the UK. It is not to be confused with the British musical project also known as Lazyboy, which consists of Dan Carey and Rob da Bank. It uses spoken word trivia, self-help advice, voices of people on the street and criticism of modern society set to hip hop-esque beats in a style dubbed “Rhythm’n'Speak” by the creators.
