What do you think? MUSIC?
So I’ve been playing guitar for a little over a year ago and I just started lessons. I’ve been writing songs since the 5th grade and I’ve finally gotten around to playing shows and getting my music out there, but I’ve been wanting to get opinions not just from people I’m close with. I know the recordings aren’t that great, but you get the jist of it. I’m up for constructive criticism, but please don’t be over bearingly rude..that really isn’t necessary to get your point across

Listening to a few songs I would LOVE to answer your request. I consider myself to be a tough critique somtimes so here goes…The first thing i noticed was your voice which has sooo much potential idk if you realize that. The high notes were iffy but not that noticebly off and some tones were a little..eh. Work on that voice and the singing aspect is awesome! The guitar…not the best work i’ve ever heard with singing and acustic but certainly not bad at all. The guitar portion its’elf forgetting singing was origional, new, refreshing, and heres the bad news, it was ok. I did like how you tried to make it not so repetative like most fake singers (not you) in your position. Work harder on guitar as well but it’s off to a good start. Also, kinda off music-talk but your face and your name are perfect for a singer (plus your very pretty.) the last thing is suggestions and rating. I’d suggest in 1 or 2 songs, find a good mello/alto Male singer to harmononize with you in portions of the song… it would sound great with your voice. Last suggestion would be to keep at it no matter what anyone says, whoever gets you down, because music is life and fuels our culture…never lose sight of your gift. thats right. overall i enjoyed the songs (disregaurding the sound quality) and i’d love to see you sell an album in the future. i personally would give you a 7.5 maybe an 8 out of 10 which is very gracious for me.
