Free Music Transposer Program
Is there a free program to transpose music?
I want to transpose Bach’s Cello Suite No. 1: Prelude to play on an alto or tenor sax, but id rather not manually write all the notes out…I can do that, but I would rather have a computer do it for me! Anyone know a good free music transposer?
The best available notation software without paying would be a free 30-day trial of Finale NotePad. It used to be free forever but now you have to pay for it. It may be tedious to input the music manually, but you can import scores if you have them stored on your computer. Once the notes are there though you can do whatever you want to them quite easily.
