Free Music Theory Worksheets
Help with guitar theory of music?
Does anyone know where I can find free, printable worksheets, online theory music for the guitar? I'm learning to play, I can read tabs, but I have no time for lessons. Game / composing songs for piano, writing songs, and I would start writing songs with guitar, so do not know where to start. Thanks for your help!
I would start with the chords. I would like start making songs with basic chords and guitar-AMAJ minutes and Gmaj min, CMAJ and minutes, and Emaj min, Dmaj and min. They are the easiest to get your hands involved around. Just mix and match and make your own progressions according to your tastes. Be careful though, some chord progressions that sound impressive on the piano does not sound impressive on guitar, and vice versa. I also like to invest in a book-reading approval to the guitar, which helps explain a lot. I recommend "The music reading for guitar: the complete method "by David Oakes. Good luck!
