Free Music Sweepers
Is Limewire Safe for me to use?
I need music back in my life.lmao. I had limewire before (the free one) and I had it for a while but than my computer went bad and my dad said it was because of Limewire. However, I don’t know what kind of protection we had at the time. Now we have Norton on all the time and now we have Webroot spy sweeper. Would using the free version of limewire be okay?..are there other precautions I should take, I don’t want to mess up my dad’s computer again he had to pay like 200 dollars.
LimeWire is safe to use, but it does install SpyWare on the computer. This will not mess up the computer but it will really anoy you as well as slow down the computer as well. Keep in mind that what ever you install on a computer does iffect the Hard Drive.. The hard drive is the only part of the computer that has moveing parts. The more you download or add to a computer the more harder the hard drive has to work. In time it can just become way to much over loaded.
Sounds as if your father had to have a new hard drive installed.
