How to empty a full ‘RECOVERY D:’ on vista?
Hello, I tried to back up C: drive a while ago, well it backed up alright.
It told me to choose what to back-up, I chose a few .txt documents I needed, and hit back-up. It instantly started to back-up things like,
‘mine sweeper’, ‘backgammon’, and ‘peggle’.
These are things I did not tell it to back-up, and it said it wouldn’t back-up program files. now my D: drive is filled with garbage and has 3.45MB free. Does anyone know how to clean out this trash so it will stop prompting me to disc clean D:?
(No, I did not use it as storage for music or down load things directly to it. It just automatically filled it with all the filler programs that come on a gateway. thank you in advance, as any ideas or advice are greatly appreciated!)
Scroll down to where back up is right click go to delete this should delete all files in back up folder
If it will not delete all right click a few and delete them a few at a time
