I’m interested in becoming an aspiring music producer? Where do I start?
When I ask this question, I am asking several things:
1. What basic skills would I need to know? Would basic music theory be a necessity?
2. What music programs should I start off with, at least for beginners?
3. What primary music production software tools are used? Are any other tools necessary or particularly useful?
4. What techniques and effects are particularly useful, or considered essential in terms of basic knowledge?
5. Which producers would be prime examples of great producers and why?
