Free Music Production Courses
is it possible to do 6th form and college?
I want to do 6th form, History, Music tech, and media.
will I then be able to go on to do college for tv and video production course.
The college (Shipley england) states that tuition fees are free for 16 – 18 year olds.
If the 6th form course is 1 year I will be able to do the 1 year college course Before I am 18, but if the 6th form course is 2 years I will be 17 when I join but will become 18 during the course. Does this mean it will not be free?

You need to speak to the colleges directly about their admissions policies. You are entitled to free higher education and subsidised further education if you are a UK citizen but only for suitable courses and once only. It might be that the standard of qualification of the college course is the same as your 6th form qualifications. Also your age for the college’s purpose will depend on the academic year that you’re in as well, not the actual age that you are when you finish 6th form (e.g. if you are young for your school year).
