What American city would you live in if work and living were not an issue?
I’m talking about what city you would just love to live in or even just live for a while to check out if you didn’t have to worry about money.
Just a few on the top of my list:
Portland, OR
Madison, WI (just because I know it well)
Seattle, WA
The nicest city in Colorado (maybe Boulder or Denver?)
Nashville, TN
My main reasons are:
Cleanliness, friendless, lower crime rates, art/music scene, parks, transportation/bike friendly
Feel free to give one or several answers, and reasons to support them!
San Antonio TX (mainly because of the river walk, but I have heard its a great city and I love Texas, used to live in Houston but would rather live in a nicer city.)
La Mesa CA (It is sooooo beautiful and serene there, I Love the weather and you can ride a trolly to all kinds of places including Mexico. Its a suburb of San Diego, so you are close to lots of things without having to live in the big city)
Stateline MS (that is where my grandmother and mom live, in a beautiful house with many many big windows, way out in the middle of the country, very peaceful)
Rogers AR (It is a big town and close enough to family in different states that we could drive and visit. plus the mountains are beautiful)
Eureka Springs AR (WOW!!! I love that city! Its like a little hippie village. Very nice people, its just super characteristic and beautiful, has natural hot springs that you can relax in)

Nashville’s Lower Broad: The Street That Music Made $6.97 Like Beale Street in Memphis and Bourbon Street in New Orleans, Lower Broadway was the heart of the country music scene in Nashville, the place where locals could rub elbows with stars and impromptu jam sessions could last late into the night. But after the Grand Ole Opry moved out of the Ryman Auditorium in the 1970s, Lower Broad deteriorated into a down-and-out skid row. When the Ryman’s reope… |
