Free Music Manager Contract
music artist used him and wont sign contract?
my friend has been promoting a music artist for 2 years invested hundreds of hours in promoting her on networking profiles..helped her get an album made up and organized artwork plus much other…hes been working for the past 2 years for free trying to get her signed…now she’s suddenly decided she wants to have a label manager and wont sign his contract…shes basically used him…what can he do about this?
so far they made no agreement or contract thats why he’s got a problem now! he naively trusted her and she lead him to believe he would manager her and he was working hard to get her signed..she’s repeatedly stalled signing the contract and now refuses but was quite happy to let him invest 2 years on promoting her for free…does he have a leg to stand on ? any advice appreciated!
Should have got her to sign earlier, nothing he can do.
