How do you get books on your amazon kindle?
I was thinking of buying my mum an amazon kindle to read her books on because she is minimal..she doesn’t like buying lots of books that take up clutter. I would get one for myself too. But how do you get the actual books onto the kindle to read? Do you have to buy them like you buy music for an ipod or do you search them or something??
And do you download them free?? Because I don’t fancy forking out all the time to download them onto my kindle.

They come loaded with a lot of books already and there are lots of free titles you can obtain – mostly classics, but good stuff.
If you want recent stuff, you would have to pay.
As for obtaining them, it depends which kindle you buy. The cheaper one you plug in to your pc and download onto it like an mp3 player. The more expensive has wifi built in and you download wirelessly, plus you can use any “hotspot” like free wifi cafes.
Either way, your mum should love it.
