Free Music Extractor Software

Ripping copy-protected CDs?

Okay, so I bought a promo CD on eBay, and I’d really like to get the songs off of it to put on my mp3 player. The CD is from 2005. I cannot for the life of me get the tracks on my computer. I have tried just about every free program under the sun, and I really don’t have the money to buy one. I tried the shift-key thing, it didn’t work. I tried these programs:
*Easy CD-DA Extractor
*CloneCD
*ISO Buster
*Express Rip CD ripper software
*And many others that I cannot remember the names of
And none of these programs have worked for me! I’m not trying to do anything really illegal, like distribute digital files of the songs, I just want to put them on my mp3 player. I paid for the music and so I think I have a right to listen to it however I want. Does anyone have anything else that they’ve used to rip copy-protected audio CD’s?
