Well, you got me on videos – my advice is to look up a youtube converter like the one I use ( http://www.alivemedia.net/youtube-video-converter.htm ) and just grab whatever you need off youtube. The quality’s gonna be sketchy, but it’s the best thing you’ve got if you don’t feel like buying off iTunes.
As for music, most people would point you in the direction of things like limewire, eMule, and other programs like that. Those are alright, but if you want high-quality, rarer tracks in a mostly legal environment, I suggest you scour blogs on the internet using the ‘Hypemachine’ ( http://hypem.com/ ). You’re in luck that you’re an enjoyer of electronic music – most electronic music can be found on a music blog, and therefore can be found on Hypemachine. It’s basically an in-depth search engine of all the music blogs on the internet, and lets you preview tracks before you download them, gives you the blog the song was posted on, etc. Wonderful program, especially for electronic music.
