Free Music Chat Programs
Which of these do you feel would result in the greatest improvement in the morals/ethics of todays youth?
Feel free to list them in order of effectiveness.
1. Regular church attendance
2. Not watching or listening to sex/drug/violence oriented television programs, video games and music
3. No access to internet chatting/web forums/instant messenger/cell phones/etc
4. One hour each day spent in 1 on 1 activities with parents
5. A non-religious community enrichment program on the weekends run by volunteer law enforcement, community leaders, business owners, designed teach respect, honesty, industry, values, etc through sports, cultural activities, arts & crafts, etc.
It would be good if people in general did those…moderation for #3 and #2.
In order…I believe 4 should be ranked #1…providing the parents had also experienced a positive 4…but it should be more than just 1 hour if at all possible.
5 and 1 are kinda good for ranking at #2…and parents should be there…cause sometimes things that happen in either of those forums might not always be the best. Not all the churches out there teach the Love that Jesus did…and many of them teach rituals and traditions which come straight out of ungodly sources. It’s good to know the facts about it.
Most of my childhood was spent without television. I learned to read from my parents before I started Kindergarten. I read hundreds of books during my childhood. They were so much more interesting than the movies that were based on those books. Cell phones were science fiction for most of my childhood too…then they came out with a huge box with a heavy corded thing…and a big whip antenna–looked like the Army radio phones you might see in MASH. When I was about 10 or 11…we got a television, and eventually an actual ATARI…oh the time we wasted…but it was fun. Saved us from having to spend good quality time with our parents…so again…I say in moderation. It needs to be set up with a healthy balance.
