Your thoughts on my poem; “Forever High”?
Forever leaking my mind;
this feeling of, almost free
such a let down, the second it’s passed
Forever numbing addiction;
forget your feelings & then, bordering on anything
this rut, so deep, so real
Forever tempting my will;
don’t, please don’t give in
this unrelenting epoch of pure bliss has its bind
Forever seems like nothing;
time is of no matter, soaring past with roughly no mercy
reverberated euphoria, still intact with all reality
Forever, will this really last forever?
i’ve posted this here before but i wanted more answers to what people think this poem is about.
& what i could do to become a better writer.
I sing and play the piano but i cannot for the life of me write music.
I’ve always wanted to but the lyrics never come out right. If i can write good lyrics, then i can surely make up melodies and notes to the song. that part is easy.
help please!!
Hi, I read this through a couple of times and at first I thought, Drugs, maybe Alcohol then finally sex.
As to writing the lyrics for songs, study some of the greats, read through the lyrics of The Beatles, Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd basically any of the greats. Think about how they form a story around and through not only the lyrics but the music.
