Free & Legal music downloading site?
I live in Victoria, Australia and earlier during March there was a segment on the Today Show about this new free and legal music downloading site.The guy who was presenting the segment said the site was to be opened at the end of March and rather than paying for the songs yourself you entered in your hobbies, interests, birthdate and name and got matched up with a sponsor (such as Solo) and the company that “sponsored” you then payed for you to download the song.
Has anyone heard of this website? If so, what is the address? I’ve tried a google search but came up empty handed.

Such a site if in the US would experience constant official hassle from being ordered to prove it is a legal site (paying the mandatory fees to performing rights societies paid by conventional legitimate download sites like iTunes).
If no mandatory fees are paid in respect of a music track offered on a site, then the download is illegal
