How do i decide my Future?
I Am 15 years old in my sophmore year of high school……i have been “dabbling” in almost everything to do with MEDIA that there is from…..a wide knowledge of computers,animation,music composition,acting,direct,piano player,painter(photoshop),special effects(vfx),and video editing,etc(and more)……..and its hard decide what i want to do in life….i like all of these things….and fairly good at all…..Im just having a hard time picking which one ill have more success in for the long run……for job use….and money……Its hard to think about because most of all that is listed,I use on a weekly basis…..like Photoshop and flash……..its just i want to have the right way to plan out my way to success without any setbacks….BTW – im the oldest of four girls(im an only boy)……so theyll be watchin me if i fail……Lucky’s >:)……any ideas of how i choose….or what?
You’re only 15, so you still have some time before college, which is when you have to start narrowing your choices down. If you think your skills in one area are about equal to another, you might try to show your work to others and see what their reactions are. Unfortunately, that is also dependant on taste. I recommend spending a month doing your best work in each of your favorite areas. Come up with a different, original, creative project for each and then compare the results. You should be able to determine not only which is the best from your point of view, but which one was the funnest and most interesting to produce. The more you like something, the better you’ll do at it. Good luck! ^_^
