Bet Music Videos Plies
Question playing off something I asked a couple of minutes ago?
If the rap industry(TV, Radio, Companies, etc.) wanted to, do you think they could get lyrical rappers to sell just as easily as they do with garbage acts.
I think the average person and average fans are going to be automatically attracted to what they see on say MTV, BET, and hear on the Radio. I think if they put out and exposed more talented MCs they could still get the same if not better sales as they do with Soulja Boy, Plies, Lil’ Wayne etc. It could be just like in the 90′s you are always going to have your one hit wonders and all artist have to do their club tracks and “music video/radio tracks” but still you could at least have talented guys doing it. Think Biggie he put out his Juicy, One More Chance, Hypnotized, Mo Money More Problems. But then he also had his more grime hood tracks like Gimme the Loot, Things Done Changed, Who Shot Ya and things evened out well. So, what is your opinion?
I’m not trying to brain wash anyone, but for the longest I have always said that its all a set up. Most of the soulja boys, and plies management are probably within the white corporate America. (I’m not racist)
They find some of the most untalented, ignorant people to make fools out of themselves and have our people promote them in such a way that its being played every 30 Min’s on the radio/bet/mtv at our own cost. Now hip hop is going down the drain like they wanted it to.
Real artist with knowledge never win grammys, get radio play, and get tv time because where spreading a influential message and that’s not what they want.
Just think about it…
